I booked a block of rooms April 2, 2025 for my daughter's wedding in July. At the time of the contract, I was told the allotment of room types could be reassessed in the future to meet my guests needs. In May, I emailed Molly to find out how many rooms had been reserved and what type of rooms were left. When Molly had not responded after several days I called her office and her recording said she was out of office for two months. No auto-reply was set on her email - strange that feature was not used! I then tried to reach someone in the "sales" office to discuss my block of rooms. I tried calling and emailing with no response. I finally called front desk and they gave me a sales coordinator name. It took Claudia 10 days to respond to my email/phone calls. It then took THREE emails before she answered my questions. Then I was told, I could not add more double rooms (there were double rooms available for booking during the timeframe I needed). I called the front desk and asked to speak to a manager and was told no one was available so asked to have manager call me. It has been over two weeks and still have not received a return phone call. I emailed Claudia and asked for manager's phone number and email. Claudia gave me an incorrect email and it bounced back - no one answered when I called. I finally managed to get the correct email and ten days later NOTHING! As you can imagine getting this close to the wedding I have a million things to do and do NOT need this aggravation. At this point all I can do is apologize to my guest for my poor hotel choice. The hotel was recommended by the reception venue. I have shared with them my displeasure with the hotel. I guess I will be hand delivering the welcome bags I made for my guests. Some of the guest had to find hotels on their own. Just don't stay here - very very disappointing. I recently read some reviews and they are not good (should have read before) and no one at Mariott seems to care about the lack of customer service. I have used other hotels in the area for group events and did not have a problem. Really regret my choice.

The first room smelled of mildew, went back down to the desk and she admittedly said yeah, I was wondering about that room. So it’s apparent that they already knew there were issues. She then found another room for me (they were fully booked for the weekend), and at first glance it seemed fine for 1 night. However, when I returned and turned down the air conditioner as it was on full blast, I quickly discovered that there was a very loud industrial/mechanical noise vibrating the whole room including the bed. It was after 9pm and I wanted to just get to sleep, but laying in bed, the whole room was like being surrounded by a wind turbine. After going downstairs and discussing with staff, both the clerk and maintenance man went upstairs. They knew exactly what it was & stated it was a compressor that was directly above the room. My question to them is why do you put people in rooms that have known issues? In addition, this room was pretty beat up and I was willing to overlook that for 1 night. BUT this noise was not going away even after they shut it off. All the other rooms apparently have these compressors and with thin walls, slamming doors, this hotel is NOT the place to stay if you want any sleep. This is my 2nd bad experience at an Aloft during this trip. At least this room had outlets for your devices unlike the other aloft I stayed at in the Plaza. that will be another review. Needless to say, it was 10pm and I said that this was not going to work (especially at $260/night) and I called up the Cascade hotel in the Plaza to get my old room back from the prior night. What I uncovered from speaking with that staff is that this Aloft has really low ratings when you start to read through reviews. Don’t go off of the start system on Marriott. Lucky for me, I was put into a nicer room at Cascade for all my issues with Aloft. If you aren’t a light sleeper, ok with excessive noise, beat up rooms, compressor vibrations and a host of other issues, you’ll be fine staying here. I feel like even if you are, the price is a bit higher than one would expect.

I had an amazing experience during my stay, and a big part of that was thanks to Myshia! She is the best—so kind, respectful, and incredibly helpful. From check-in to checkout, she went above and beyond to make sure everything was just right. I truly felt like she cared about making my stay comfortable and enjoyable. Her professionalism and warm attitude made a lasting impression. Outstanding service like hers is rare, and she absolutely deserves recognition. Thank you, Myshia, for making my visit unforgettable!

Beware if you book online! Priceline has created an identical website and you will think your at the Marriott site. Priceline has NO REFUND POLICY! Unlike Marriott. Marriott should do something about that deception! . Now the hotel…..No Service, have been here 3 days and no new towels, nothing in maid service. Beds have not been made. No new coffee for in room coffee machine. Have to go to the front desk to get towels. Budget hotel is an understatement…it takes minutes to get hot water…how many hundreds of gallons of water is being wasted each day by this “budget” hotel? One exception to the abysmal underperformance of ALoft…..the people at the desk are very polite. This was our second try at this place. And our last.

Good location
Nice hotel. The location is cool. Conveniently by food, shopping, and movie theater. It was different walking into a hotel where the check in counter is on the 2nd floor instead of when you first walk in.

Not what I expected
The Netflix did not work, not waa there any attempt to fix it while we were there. The pool was freezing cold, and the we spent $9 on washing and drying our clothes, and neither one worked. There was no attempt in reimbursing for the failed equipment. The area was quite lovely though.

Neat location, needs some improvements
The person working the front desk was very impersonable at check in. The bartender was VERY RUDE!! and the pool needed LOTS of chlorine. The dirtiness of it caused us to go home with a bacteria infection. The hotel itself is in a neat location and clean for the most part, however, your staff needs improvement on their customer service skills.

Hip Space, We Are Not Cool Enough
We love the modern feel of the hotel in general. The design of the room was slightly dysfunctional. The door to the room opens directly into the bathroom, so if someone is
exiting the shower and reaching for their robe, anyone in the hallway is treated to a free show. The door could swing the opposite way and give a modicum of privacy. Only other complaint was noise. There were many guests late into the night who do not understand how to be quiet in a public hotel hallway. This is not exclusive to your hotel. All in all it was a good stay despite the negatives.

Poor service
My son and I arrived and we waited in line for over 30 mins to get checked in. First the card reader for the room keys wasn’t working and then the computers were so slow. This made us late for a party we were attending. Not even an I’m sorry. Checking always takes 5 mins at other hotels. Then the noice was so loud because there was prom that I wish we were informed about on our floor. The room was dirty and the air conditioner made a loud noice all night.
